Do you have to be an Italian citizen to play?
No, you don't have to be an Italian citizen to play.
What expenses are travelers responsible for?
Travelers are responsible for:

Travelers should expect to spend about $30-$60 per day in additional spending money for the above.
Are travelers able to arrive earlier or stay later?
Yes, travelers can arrive on tour early, or stay extra days after the tour has ended. We are here to help in any way we can. If you need assistance with other places to go, places to stay or eat, please let us help you.
Are family members allowed to travel with the team?
Yes, we are very inclusive. We highly encourage family members, relatives and friends to come be part of the experience. We try to do everything together and it makes it a wonderful inclusive experience.
Do travelers book their own flights?
It is completely optional. We are happy to book your flights for each traveler.
Do travelers book their own hotels?
Cardillo Tours will be booking all lodging throughout the trip. Should parents, family or friends want to stay at other lodging, we will try to work something out.
Are Passports required?
Yes, passports are required. In addition, your passport needs to be valid up to 6 months after the conclusion of your tour.
Can youth players attend unaccompanied?
Players 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Players older than 12 may join our trip without a guardian.
How do travelers handle money on tour?
Each traveler should prepare for on-tour expenses. ATMs are the best way to get money while on tour. Be sure to notify your bank or credit card company that you will be abroad. Do not bring traveler's checks.
What to bring?

Your own baseball equipment.

Cardillo Tours will provide you with a baseball shirt and a hat.

Bring your own baseball pants: grey and white.

Pack light: we are responsible for loading our own luggage to and from bus and hotels.

Carry any valuable medication in your backpack or carry-on.

Pack a change of clothes in your carry-on in case your luggage is lost.

Carry your valid passport on you and have color photocopies of your passport.
Is Cardillo Tours medically insured when traveling overseas?
We highly recommended every traveler to have their own insurance or purchase travel insurance.
What meals are included in the tours?
Two meals are included in the tours. Usually it's breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is typically at the hotel and could be plated buffet-style. On game day, lunch or dinner will usually be held at the ball park with the other team as we find this to be a great way for the players to interact. All meals will be a mix of familiar dishes and local specialities all served from a pre-set group menu. Please inform us of any allergies.
Do travelers tip on tour?
Tipping is encouraged by each traveler for local tour guides and bus drivers. Usually it's 2 euro per local guide per traveler. 3 euro per day for bus driver.
How are accommodations set up?
We will do our best to handle custom accommodation requests. Typically, players are housed with their parents in the hotel. If a player does not have any parents traveling, they will be housed with another player.
Is there supervision for the players traveling alone?
We normally have 1 coach/staff member per 5 players. Players are never allowed to go anywhere alone. They must be with a parent, coach or staff member.
What is the baggage allowance?
Travelers are responsible for any checked luggage fees.
